Wenzhou - China

First stop (apart from an seven hour stop over in Beijing airport!) was Wenzhou. An insignificant city and surrounds (in the words of our Chinese host!!!) of approx. 9 million people - where they were holding the second 'Leisure and Culture Tourism Festival of Nanxi River' and what we were guests of.

I was last in China in 1992 - so there were significant changes, massive changes but in this area where few travellers/tourists outside of China visit it was as if nothing had really changed. We were constantly stopped and chatted to, pointed at, run away from (by the young ones) and questioned. The main difference though was how many photos (mostly selfies) we were asked to be in...especially Sienna who is 'posing' here with the child of a family who followed us around the small, local museum. 

It was something she became very, very used to!
