Village Album feast

The Village Album started in Street about 150 years ago, with friends coming together to read stories and articles they had written, as a way of passing long winter evenings in pleasant company. The tradition still continues as an annual party, with a bring-and-share meal following the readings. This picture is of this year's food.
(My contribution was the South African dish of "bobotie" with yellow raisin rice, which disappeared flatteringly fast!)
