Slapping the paint on.

I've been up at the new house again today, doing some more painting. This our new kitchen - we had a wall knocked out to make space for a breakfast area, as in the extra picture.

A very heavy shower while I was inside - lots of local flooding. I suppose we're very lucky not to be suffering the floods that other parts of the country are having to deal with.

At least the new house won't be flooded - it's too high up for that - but we may well have to cope with water rushing past from the plot above us!
