Torchlight Procession

A busy day of socialising concluded with the Hogmany Eve Torchlight Procession from The Old Town to Calton Hill.

After all the fury of Atlantic Storm Frank the evening was much calmer and the flames were filling central Edinburgh with a surreal warmth.

The fireworks and son et lumiere were a great appetiser to tomorrow's main event.  Half the world seems to be in Edinburgh already and the other half are expected tomorrow!
