Down with Darwinism!
Reading about Marginellaman's valliant efforts to save an injured Red Admiral yesterday, inspired me to hasten the decline of a local sub-species of frog: the Long-tongue. Appearently, this extremely successful specialist feeder is forcing our native common frog to 'lick' elsewhere for a home. Its habitats being threatened by drainage of agricultural land and eutrophication.
These beautiful, yet pernicious reptiles were, following a photographic session, confined to landfill in an attempt to redress the (im)balance.
Hope the Admiral is well (ref Marginellaman July 4th).
