Stepping stones across The Hodder (almost!)

To round off a beautiful 3 days exploring the delights of The Ribble Valley, including an intrepid walk in the clouds to the top of Pendle Hill, deep in the heart of witch country, we visited The Inn at Whitewell, but couldn't make it across the stones as the river was still too high after rain. This truly is an area of outstanding natural beauty and it's right on our doorstep. Lanzarote eat your heart out!
