Two wheels better (eventually)
We drove down to Bromley Bikes this morning to take my old bike in for a service - it makes a terrible grinding noise when going up hills (or is that me?).
Update: the bike people just 'phoned to say the grinding noise is due to a broken axle and the rear wheel needs replacing. Nothing serious then (!) Fixing it is still much cheaper than a new bike - so they will sort it out.
It could have been worse - it could have been me that was broken and worn out...
