Back blip

Wandered up to our local market this morning to buy fresh fruit and who did we happen to bump into but our friend and blipper Briocarioca, who had just got back from the UK the night before! After a catch up and impromptu repair of her 30 year shopping trolley (should last another 10 years at least now!) we parted ways. We'll see her and her husband R soon as we're going along to their house party on NY's eve - they live in the next street. Looking forward to it! This will be the first new year we've stayed in our little studio (but not our first new year in Rio) and we're very happy to be just 5mins walk from Copacabana front, where we'll all go down to see the new year fireworks and hear the bells. Last time we were here for these celebrations we had a 2 hour walk back from our restaurant to the hotel!
