Red jacket

Better nights sleep last night. Kilda went through to 5.45. Met a large cocker spaniel in the park this morning that goes to Citydog. The owner said he absolute loves it. Kilda had a sniff and a bit of a play with him. Spent the morning tidying up. After lunch went to the dog shop in Stockbridge to get her some more bull’s willies, as these seem to be something to keep her entertained and distracted. J also came out with another toy. Headed over to Portie for walk on the beach. J tried to get Kilda into the sea again with not much luck. She had a good run on the beach and played with a few other dogs. Stopped off and ordered the carpet for the stairs on the way back. This month’s theme is depth of field so I had another play with the groynes on the beach. While I was taking them these children came along. Liked the red coat one of them was wearing against the sand and sea.
Headed up town to put my Barbour jacket into be re-waxed as it’s leaking a bit. Town is getting ready for the festival tonight with some of the roads already shut off. RD and F are coming up for tea and a couple of drinks before heading on. WE are having a night in, as we can’t leave Kilda yet, especially with the fireworks that will go off at midnight.
