Misty Morning by the lake

New Years Eve went rather well. The boys slept through the fireworks - Hero and Beat wearing their thundershirts. At midnight, when hell broke loose, Gollum looked surprised, but not scared. It could have been a lot worse.

We slept at 2ish and woke at 8 - and went to the lake at 10 for a morning swim. Brrrrrrrrrrrrr - silly boys. I really don't understand that they can enjoy playing in the cold water, but they do! They love it!

We went for a walk and it was almost 1 pm, before we were home... It was a lovely start to the day and the year.
