1st of January
It was past 3 am, when I slept last night as the fireworks kept going for a loooong time and after it got quiet, I was too awake to just go to sleep.
So the dogs were more energetic than me this morning, but at 10 am, I gave up and took them out for a training session. Hero and Gollum worked well. Biscuit was not really up for it, but that's ok. He is an old man (12 years old) and he has had a busy week with lots of excitement. It is only fair, if he feels like taking a day off.
So instead of working Biscuit, I put the boys in the car and we drove to the Academy Garden and went for a walk. It was a very rainy morning and we had the place to us selves.
I am loving my little GoPro camera more every day. It takes some great and interesting pictures and it is so small (the same size as a matchbox) and easy to bring with you. Today it was too wet to take my proper camera out, but the GoPro can take pictures from a waterproof case and between pictures, I can keep it in my pocket.
Have a look at today's pictures here.
We were home for lunch at 1pm and the rest of the afternoon has been nothing but dog cuddles, coffee and Netflix.
I was about to take the boys out for another walk at 4 pm, but the fireworks started again, so I decided against it and did a little indoor training fun instead.
Now we are ready for more coffee and Netflix :-)
Happy New Year
