Saving Blip for the Future

There's no other website quite like Blipfoto.  It's a thread that runs through my daily life, and the daily lives of thousands of other 'Blippers' around the world.  Along with some of the most stunning photography I've ever seen, all life is here.  The highs and lows, the celebrations and commiserations, the triumphs and tragedies.  And the camaraderie and support of strangers who often become friends.  The wonderful community of Blipfoto has helped me through some rough times since I started keeping a photo-journal here in April 2014 and also brought me fun and friendship.  Now Blipfoto itself has been having a rough time.  As it's not the kind of website which readily lends itself to making huge profits, the current owners have offered the Blipfoto community the opportunity to buy and run it through crowdfunding.  We are trying to raise £180,000 to secure the site and cover its running costs for the first year.  You don't have to be a member of Blipfoto to make a pledge, and donations by people who visit the site to follow a journal would be very much welcomed and appreciated.  All the details about how to pledge and help save Blipfoto are on https://www.blipfuture.com/invest.
