Pie face

A busy New Year's Day.

Jack and Claire got dropped at Broughton Place for a walk back over the hills. I then headed towards Peebles via Dreva only to find the Stobo Road closed in both directions. Retracing my steps I arrive in Peebles 20 minutes after Megan's bus is supposed to arrive, but 30 minutes before it actually does.

Nick visits to fix his yurt, which has been badly treated by the storm. Later, we'll end the day round his fire, but before that there's movies to watch, bubbly to consume and food to eat.

We get everyone around the table for dinner - chilli con carne that Claire prepared earlier. Then she springs her xmas game on us - Pie Face - a bizarre torture of whipped cream and tension. Megan hid in the toilet.
