Returning home

Thank you so much for the kind comments and hearts and stars for my 3 year blip anniversary - my image got onto the first page of popular and is still there now, which I don't think has happened before.

This morning we were up early to depart for Zurich and our flight home to London. There was low cloud cover and more snow was forecast today. This was the early morning scene, which may have brightened as the day wore on because that is what happened yesterday - after snow in the morning the afternoon developed into a sunny day, as seen in the extra.

We ended up having a bit of a disastrous day - nearing Zurich on the motorway, Thomas suddenly announced that he was feeling sick and seconds later he was vomiting all over the car! We had so much luggage that he had a suitcase on his lap at the time, so the suitcase, Luke, Adam and Thomas were all covered in it. We managed to pull off at a service station where we bought paper towels and tried to clean up the mess - the boys all changed and the foul smelling clothes were put into a plastic bag. He gets car sick, but usually can give more of a warning!

When we arrived at the airport, Adam suddenly realised that in all the confusion he had lost his wallet, he thinks in the toilets when he was changing - in there was his bank card, his driving licence and his university card which is an access card to all the university facilities. 

Sitting on the runway and being delayed by an hour did not help our mood...but now we are home and I have some laundry to attend to!
