A DAY OF TRAVEL, A LONG DAY
of travel. We left the Weser Uplands at 10 o'clock in the morning and due to the thunder and ligtening near Dortmund we missed a connection. A walk of nearly two hours through the centre of Duisburg, waiting for the next ICE to Holland.
The enormous brightly coloured statue by Nikki de Saint Phalle I alway love to see, it was turning slowly around and water poured over the huge bird and over the human body clinged to her breast. Beneath the statue the installation of Jean Tinguely.
Coming home eventually in The Hague Mischa had made us dinner and after that I made a couple of pictures with her camera, in the green field of the parking place between the apartments. Thank you dear Mischa.
My haiku:
I left you poppies
Scarlet red and look how now
You proudly turned green
And the greek proverb:
You cannot make a crab walk straight.
