Crunchy

Today was definitely a day to file under 'shouldn't have been at work'. My leg was really sore, and I felt fairly spaced out by the afternoon. But I had my appraisal, and felt I needed to be there in the run up to the Christmas break. I had a bit of a rest at home before spending the evening with my leg up at a friends for some holiday planning. A couple of children in her class had made her crackers, which we mistakenly opened over dinner; one was full of plastic jewels, which went all over our food and did an excellent job hiding in the salad.
