Somewhat unbelievably, Christmas day seems to be here already; this year really has really flown by. It was so nice to have the usual relaxed morning with Mum opening stockings, pouring the bucks fizz and exchanging presents. She was hugely overwhelmed with the wedding book we'd made her, and loved her other gifts. After our lunch, G and his parents arrived and all stayed for a cup of tea and more unnecessary food. After his parents left, G and I swapped presents - for the first time in eight years, actually on Christmas Day. It was so nice spending some of the day together, playing some games and teasing Mum over the awful Downton Abbey.
