Bath time

We're camping, clearly, this means roughing it a little bit and some things being a little out of the ordinary.  This extends to bath time, in broad daylight, in front of other campers (thankfully very few of them around) and in the washing up bowl.

However, bath time is one of the favourite times of day and this includes when camping - it gets the horrible hot sweaty day off and (maybe more importantly) the food just consumed at dinner time.  We cannot fathom all the advice about bathing before dinner time, which is a very messy (and fun) affair.

It may be New Year's Eve, however we were in bed pretty early and listened to all the fun going on around us.  When that abated, thankfully pretty early, we were lulled to sleep by the roars of the lions kept at Antelope park.  They have a lion breeding programme and at night there is a lovely chorus as they roar away into the night.  This is probably far nicer knowing there is a great big game fence between us and them.
