Arria...
So, 2015 has now gone and we have entered 2016, it's time to turn our minds to our big project this year, the extension and the building of the hydrotherapy pool for Alan.
With that in mind, we escaped the house today and headed to Glasgow to meet up with Helen who's designing the new accessible kitchen. Two and a half hours later and we had gone over the design tweaking where necessary (not much) and feeling delighted that the tweaks mean we no longer need a built in butler's pantry, so that has taken a chunk off the cost.
Speaking to the architect later this week to go over the final tender documents and the drawings then it's all systems go in appointing a builder. It's all becoming real now and feels exciting and terrifying in equal measure!
Home and a takeaway for tea. The final one before the healthy eating begins again on Tuesday. Just Christmas cake, shortbread, Cadbury's Heroes, madeira cake, matchmakers, selection of cheese and profiteroles to get through before then! :D
Our journey today took us past the lovely Arria so she had to be my blip.
