My life in my words...

Me, Carol and the boys

Woke up this morning and thought - today is going to be a good day!

First of all I got 2 parcel deliveries which I had been waiting on and they both arrived before I left so thank you to Royal Mail and the parcel delivery people. Was a nice new dress and some mineral makeup I had been waiting on - time to try and make an effort :-)

Then I headed out to get my bus - time to go and visit Paul. I very much look forward to these times - they are very limited and I like to make the most of every minute. Paul was as usual pleased to see me and I was greeted with a huge hug and some lovely kisses :-D We had a lovely visit and a chance to chat and sample some new fruit tea which I thought he might like - it was a hit! He's such a fussy so-and-so sometimes so this was a good start. As usual the end of the visit came too soon and it was time once more to say goodbye - this part always gets harder :-( I do my best to keep my composure but it's difficult. I don't expect anyone likes the thought of their husband locked away and out of reach.....

After I had gathered myself the journey continues - first back though to Edinburgh and then to fife to see my friend Carol and the boys - they always seem pleased to see me. She picked me up from the bus station and am greeted with much delight and a 'auntie Claire why are you always so silly' from one of the boys. They always remember me happy - never sad. We chant and dance along to some music on the way to Carols. When I arrive Matthew wants to show me his new car and Lewis has learned to ride his bike without stabilisers and is eager to show me. He tells me the cigarette I'm longing for can wait...lol. Then after playtime it's bath time and bedtime and Auntie Claire's turn to read a story - I love doing this!

Now just chilling with a vino - time for some photo's to catch up on what I have missed and some munchies! Days like this are few and far between and I am treasuring each second.......
