Lip blip and all that jazz!
Well today I was rudely awoken by a 4 year old child (who incidentally I love very much) telling me Auntie Claire it's time to get up! I disagreed however arguing with 4 year old children about the appropriate time to rise out of bed has never proved fruitful...lol.
Spent the initial part of the day around the house - trying my best to awake from what feels like a coma - alternatively known as anti-depressant aftermath.
Then, Carol, myself and the boys went to visit Carol's cousin who I hadn't seen for some time. Was really nice to see her and the most recent addition to her family 6 week old Megan. She is such a cutie! :-) Also got to see the other kids as well - Emily, Amy, Liam, and Joshua. I always feel my best around children. It always encourages me to smile.
Then it was time to head back to Carol's to catch up on a few chores and have dinner. Shug who is Carols' partner also joined us and it was a pleasure as always.
The boys then departed to go to their dads for the weekend and Carol drove me to Kirkcaldy to say hi to an old friend of mine.... Body piercing. I had always liked body piercing but during the years of being a nurse it became an inconvenience and I had removed all but one of my piercings. Now it was time for them to make a return - back to the old me, or at least on my way to the old me. Had my top lip (or madonna) re-pierced and also my lower lip. I must now confess that I don't enjoy the experience of getting body parts pierced - just the end result.
Got back home and helped Carol with her essay which let's just say worked out ok in the end - yes Carol you are a stress head but I love ya and wouldn't have you any other way.
Now a chilled out evening with a film some vino - munchies and chip with curry sauce....mmm mmm. Boo ya! xxx
