What a racket!

The festivities are well and truly done now and it's back to reality. I made a start on taking down the decorations today, and also cleaned some of the bathroom. Oh the excitement!

I had to nip out for a walk after that to send some post and get my Blip. It's been a while since I took shots in the Arboretum so I thought I'd see what it had to offer. 

There was a large contingent of gulls by the pond making a huge racket. Collective nouns for a group of gulls include a Screech and a Squabble, and watching this lot it was easy to see why! This one, perched on the bridge, made enough noise on his own. For a fairly small creature they make a very large sound!

I am back at work tonight and back to normal hours!
