Working Together

We finally saw some sun today, so everything else was abandoned in favour of the lake.....there was lots going on and I was spoilt for choice but this pair of swans looked so sweet I just couldn't resist them :-)

I was looking through some of the entries for the 'Save Blip' promotional challenge from the 1st Jan, some of them were absolutely brilliant and very inventive. The pages of them went on and on so it was reasonably well supported but I can remember looking at the 'Recent' entries as they were posted on the day and being surprised how many people had not made any effort whatsoever. Thinking these must be new members, I looked at quite a few of the profiles and almost all of them were 'seasoned' blippers of many years who blipped every day. It can't possibly have passed them all by that we are about to lose this treasure and how hard is it to include the word 'BLIP' in your photo in order to show some support? It just makes me wonder if any of them have pledged or if they are just hoping that everyone else will save it for them.......that just won't work......the meeting with the present owners is in a weeks time........if they don't think we've all done enough so far the reality is that it could  be curtains there and then!!!!
This is not a rant that's aimed at anyone in particular, I'm merely pointing out an observation...........a very worrying observation that makes me want to shout and scream :-((

It seems we have finally hit the half way mark with our pledges........now all we have to do is the same again ;-))
