Cycle touring

We set off from Haltwhistle after a delicious breakfast preparing for more rain and fog. But to our surprise after a few hours of fog the sky turned blue and the clouds disappeared. On the way we visited a fantastic Roman fort (Chesters) which was fascinating. The ride today (finishing at Blaydon) was a beautifully scenic route however this blip is one of the less scenic moments. The building in the background is a sawmill near Hexham.
