Melting...

Miserable wet day today.

We went up to London in the rain to look at a Poulsen PH5 or PH50 lamp shade. It was a bit of a wasted trip - though we did find a PH5 in one shop, but it was poorly displayed with a feeble 30 W incandescent lamp so we couldn't see how it would work with a decent 15 W LED in it. The good news is that the shade covers the lamp so well that any old lamp in it will work okay, even an ugly but bight CFL.

Tonight saw the return of the Young Montalbano on BBC4...!

Today's back blip is a disk of chocolate melting into a cup of chocolate milk to make a hot chocolate drink for my better half.
