Daisy....

Hoorah!! Finally, after much teeth sucking and tutting, my leak is fixed and my immersion heater temperature has been tweaked so that a hot bath just involves the hot water tap and not several kettles of hot water as well!!
Oliver and alice were introduced to the all over wash last night, with soap and flannels!
It reminded me of when I was a little girl and we lived in a flat with a shared bathroom. My mum would put a towel on a chair in our sitting room (the only room with a fire) and put a bowl of water on the chair, so that I could have a wash in the warm and watch Sunday Night at the London Palladium at the same time!
It's a quaint memory that made me smile, but I'm looking forward to a hot shower and not washing my hair with a jug!!!
