another one done

Biggest has another school behind her. Tomorrow is her last day, tonight was the "prom" as one calls them these days, what with us all being American an' all that.
She's moving on to a new school after the summer holidays and is very happy to leave this one behind.
As we have Flea starting this school after the summer, it wasn't much of a good-bye for us. Having three kids can sometimes feel like living in an endless loop. Just as one child grows out of something you start again with the next one - a bit like reincarnation complete with the karma, both good and bad.

Anyway, whatever, she looked lovely and it was all very special.

As we used to sing back in the olden days "one more day in school, one more day of sorrow, one more day of this old dump and we'll be home tomorrow" - we're all looking forward to taking it a bit easier for a few weeks. I only have one week of holiday but I always enjoy the kids being off school as it gives me less to organise and remember. And I get a bit more sleep :-)
