It's A Jungle Out There
While we were melting in the heat enjoying the sunshine in Italy, back home the Tadpools were filling up with rainwater.
Perhaps this gave the froglets the impression that the entire garden might actually be an Exceptionally Large Undiscovered Tadpool as one or two have been observed making their escape onto the lawn. As they still have not fully absorbed their tails it seems too early to be flying the nest, so to speak, but they are very determined little creatures and surprisingly agile among the blades of grass (which haven't been cut for a couple of weeks).
After I'd taken this blip I moved the froglet to a shady spot off the lawn, where we sometimes see a frog and we'll have to do a fingertip search of the lawn before mowing it for the next few weeks.
I'll be back blipping the holiday as soon as I can decide which of the thousands hundreds of lake/mountain/village/flower photos I can use - if any.
