Tufted

There was a lot to see at our local pond/wetland area today, including many tufted ducks.  There was also a lot of preening, flirting, scooting across the water, shouting and general 'showing off' going on amongst the bird life.  It seems quite early for this sort of behaviour.
Am still on holiday, but the constant rain has not really encouraged me to be out and about as much as I would like to be.
