At least five people greeted passengers leaving Bond Street tube station this morning, each offering paper gifts.
This would be a positive take on the somewhat irritating gaggle of folk who pretty much blocked the exit during the morning rush hour to thrust whatever leaflet, pamphlet and paper they were promoting at unsuspecting passengers in a rush to get to work on time.
In other news. Having been contemplating whether my recent bout of aches and pains were down to old age and what would be considered old age anyway, on this evenings rush hour journey home, I was twice, yes, twice, offered an empty seat on an otherwise busy tube. Once by a lovely young lady on the Bakerloo line and again by a gentleman who, to be honest, didn't actually look much younger than me, on the Jubilee line.
Funny old world innit?
