Lady with a Rabbit ...

... and a bird on her head.  It's a huge vertical mural just outside at the Porte d'Italie* (Italy Gate) on the eastern edge of Paris, which we passed coming from the  Charles De Gaulle airport this morning.  I took the shot from our moving taxi, at the brief moment when the wall was entirely visible. I have no idea what the image portrays.  We've passed there very occasionally previously (at most every year or two), but I don't recall having seen it before.

It's good to be back at our usual apartment here, which is about ten minutes down the Avenue d'Italie toward the center of Paris. (An email comment on yesterday's blip driving into Boston noted  "Nice visual pun--Boston's city lights on your way to the City of Light!"
