Window Fragmentation
We arrived in Paris this morning, via Dublin on Aer Lingus from Bradley International airport; the Dublin flight from Bradley only started in September, and we are delighted with it, since Bradley is only 40 minutes from Northampton (versus nearly two hours to Logan in Boston and nearly three hours to JFK).
Today we did little other than recover and shop for basic groceries. The bathroom in our apartment here has a large window, which provides good daylight through its twenty glass bricks, but a highly fragmented view. Here the late afternoon sun shines brilliantly on the buildings opposite us; on the right is a reflection from the bathroom tiles. Here's a wide direct view from a year ago--you have to imagine the bright sun).
