When you've spent the day de-Christmasing the house only pausing to comment on the horrendous weather, then a wee treat to toast the last of the festive season is in order.

I saved a little gift that Cameron bought me at the Edinburgh Christmas market for this very purpose.  A miniature bottle of a local gin - Strathearn Heather Rose gin,

"Heather Rose Gin with its combination of rose and heather has a prosecco character. The colour of the gin changes to a delicate pink when tonic is added. Fragrant, floral and light, sweet yet spicy."

It was delicious :-)


Tesco order done.  Healthy food will be delivered tomorrow.  Not a moment too soon!
