Long trip

Today we went up to Dalton in North Yorkshire to view a property for our daughter who is moving to Yorkshire. The idea being that we preview properties and tell the whole truth about them before she makes the long trek from the South!

Well, I could have a tirade about Estate Agents but I will just have a gentle chunter about misrepresentation and sins of omission and leave it at that!

It rained all the way and we saw the floods around Tadcaster, apparently to get from one side of the town to the other involves a 20 mile detour because of the bridge being washed away! How dreadful is that!

My blip is of course an emergency one and bears no relation to any of today's events!!!
