A girl's gotta do what a girl's gotta do
So, I'm coming around the 5th month since my last money entry. Eating peanut butter sandwiches, and looking for lost loonies (1$ in Canada). So, there come's a point when a girl has to do what she needs to do in order to pay next month's rent, and since, however much it's available in my neighborhood, I don't exactly consider prostitution as a valid career path, miss Literature is looking into getting some work in customer service, in a bank. Today was all about that: first, a weird machine interview (they took control of my computer, and I had to answer two questions. No human being on the other side of this). Then, a phone conversation. And then, this simulation thing. So 2 weird things happened in my apartment: a) I had to talk bank terms, calculate rates, etc. b) and it's the one that hurt the most, I had to actually accept the introduction of a PC in my nice little Apple life. Lea was as mystified as I was by the mammoth my stepdad brought to me. It's a laptop, but I think it must weigh at least 10 pounds.
Anyways. All done for tonight. Tomorrow, another phone interview. We'll see.
Any one of you rich and looking into financing a struggling writer? I can smile prettily on pictures, write postcards and letters, and even say thank you nicely... In exchange, I'll use your money to write the best novel ever written (or try to).
