Billy Brompton goes off road!

I'm sure when Andrew Ritchie designed the Brompton folding bike back in the seventies he designed it for people to do this to them?

A day spent doing an annual land inspection on redundant railway line that the charity I work for owns between Rugby and Leamington. I had fully planned to use my usual work bike but discovered just as I was leaving that I had left my bike lock keys at my parents house.

So, what to do? The only option was Billy Brompton... How hard could it be... Today's additional pictures tell more of the story. Today was 32 miles of cycling and only 10 of it was on road!

I think I deserve a beer tonight.
