We are Sailing

Today our two week stay in The Netherlands come to an end. So many places visited, but so many still to visit. We managed to visit places in the South, West, and centre North.

Today on the way to the Ferry we spent the morning and early afternoon in Alkmaar. Inevitably this led to a last cheese purchase, again the weather was bright hot and sunny.

Check in for the ship went very well, and we spent the first hour or so before dinner on the Sky Deck and Sky Bar. The buffet dinner was again excellent. Following dinner we took another promenade on the deck to see the sun set. The North Sea was very calm, It was difficult to imagine we were actually at sea.

In the later evening we enjoyed the on board entertainment. If anything the singer was even better than on the other ship we had on the way over to the Netherlands two weeks ago.
