Clocks Out of Kilter
A store window on Avenue d'Italie, not far from our Paris 13th apartment. This was the view next to a bakery as Marylee and I waited in a long lunch-hour line. Many bakeries sell all sorts of lunch food, and are thus often crowded at midday. Small stores like this one with incredibly diverse inventories are common in this area--sometimes seemingly one or two on a block. Edit: The mini-Eiffel towers reminded one person of the movie, The Lavender Hill Mob (with Alec Guinness).
Posted the next afternoon--we're still a bit jet-lagged.
