This is Portobello Police station a strange Victorian building that started life as Portobello Town Hall untill they built a new town hall across the road.
It's all part of the High street that runs through Edinburgh's seaside, an old fashioned High st that still has a butcher and and a fishmonger and about 106 charity shops.
