Fixing the barriers

Beside the Eden in Appleby the swimming pool was part of the flood defences. In the car park were barriers that were raised when flooding was expected. Contractors were fixing these when the floods came so were inoperable. The amount of water was so high that they would have been overwhelmed anyway. So the chaps are back fixing them. How high will they be this time?
