Aberlady

Well, by mid-morning, nobody had turned up to do any work so, after checking that no-one was actually on their way, we went out for coffee at one of our favourite places, the Gosford Bothy.

After a visit to the nearby Scottish Ornithological Club to obtain the Tide Chart for 2016/17, and advice on recent bird sightings, we continued to Aberlady Bay. By then it was raining hard, high tide with the birds way out on the bay and the proposed walk abandoned in favour of the weekly shopping.
