Cold snap

We are in for a few very cold days before it warms up on the weekend. The pond is freezing over so the fish will be happy in the hibernation. After falling in the pond last winter, Lacey has learned to stay away.

Of course, Justin has made it the yard easy to navigate for the dogs by shovelling several hundred metres of paths around the yard, part of which runs along the right side of the photo. The snow is pretty deep and sometimes we lose sight of Lacey in the maze. Somehow, she always find her way back to the warmth and comfort (and food) in the house.
