Our a-maz-ing maize

It poured overnight, and most of the day, giving us another 43 mms of rain. With the other 69mms that we received at the beginning of the week, we've had a total 112mms of rain - not bad for summer!

I went into work for most of the day today and caught up with some work, which was perfect considering the outside conditions.  The rain stopped later this afternoon, so this evening I went for a walk around the farm.  I stopped by the maize, and took this photo.  It has grown heaps over the past week, and looks so healthy.  A much better crop than last year's crop.
