Goodbye Smudge

Early this evening we had to put my cat Smudge down.  He had been diagnosed with what the vet thought was intestinal cancer earlier in the week.  Thursday he had lots of different injections to help him, which appeared to work, as on Friday he rallied.  However today he deteriated.  The vet arrived tonight and Smudge passed away at 7.16pm.  He was 12.

RIP Smudge, I shall remember the walks we had around the farm, and the little talks we had.  I shall miss you.
