The Temple Of Apollo, Stourhead

We took our first walk at Stourhead of the New Year this morning. The early morning sun had disappeared by the time we arrived but, as Apollo was the god of the sun, amongst other things, here's the temple dedicated to him, viewed from the lake.

A brisk walk and a bowl of soup set us up for the weekend.
