Better in large....

Firstly - great to have this picture selected for Tiny Tuesday

I've spent this week blipping the wonders of the fungi world - mostly in near macro - so I thought it would be fitting to finish with a fungi giant - especially as it's actually the same species as Tuesdays entry above!
Turkeytail can grow to cover huge areas - this example starts a couple of feet off the ground - the bottom of this shot is probably 15ft and in the extra you can clearly see it extending along the upper trunk fork at around 30ft. One of the most spectacular I've seen.
