Auckland Ferry Terminal Building
Auckland’s Ferry Terminal was constructed over 2½ years and completed in 1912. A significant heritage building, it stands at the bottom end of Queen St, and is an attractive foil for many of the modern buildings that surround the area.
I've been enjoying visiting with Auckland relatives today, and also enjoying some fine weather. It's a shame we couldn't have had more of it on the Barrier. Apparently the ferry crossing back from the Barrier yesterday was one of the worst they've had in a long time. I'm glad it wasn't any worse!
