Inside a hunebed (prehistoric grave )

Another great walk today in an area filled with history.  Two hunebeds, many covered grave hills. And some more recent history,  a shelter for soldiers. This area remained intact due to the fact it wasn't accessible for a long time,  being in use by the army. The door to the shelter had been left ajar,  nice to be able to see inside!

The extra photo shows the outside.

The weather wasn't too great,  but at least it was dry.

(For the Dutch, this is near Anloo, the area Strubben-Kniphorstbosch,  the only Dutch archeology reserve).
