5 Boys and a Bird

Our Disney World countdown is down to 15 days, so Grandma Lisa had to try a bathing suit on Merrick for the trip. And, of course...I had to snap a few shots.

I wanted him to lose the New Years Eve hat, but didn't want to push my luck.

Lisa and I were in the kitchen today when we looked out and saw a hawk, looking very regally perched on my ladder feeder. I couldn't form any words.

"Ooh...eee...oohhhh!"

"What?"

"Ahhhh....ahhh....ahhh."

By the time I ran downstairs, grabbed my camera, and ran upstairs fiddling with the camera settings...the only shot I got was of the hawk tail as he/she flew away. ;0(

It's no wonder why my birds have been so skittish, or totally absent. What a bird, though.
