IB day

Nerve wracking day as we waited for the International Baccalaureate marks to be posted online.
The appointed hour arrived, no results, one hour later still no results, since this was the deciding factor on where Adam was to study for the next four years it had us all on the edge of our seats biting fingernails and every other extremity in a sense of nervous frenzy.
Finally the screen showed a result and suddenly the wait was over, was it a pass, was it a good enough mark to allow him to take up his place in Edinburgh? I am delighted it was on both counts, so another hurdle overcome.
He is off to Madrid tonight to celebrate with a Red Hot Chilli Pepper or two (or are there 5 of them), then he can finally relax until he starts in Edinburgh in September.
Dad meanwhile has to delay celebrations until he has collected no 2 daughter from Gerona as she starts her hols with us. No 1 son arrives on Monday, great coordination there so we will nearly all be together for three weeks until No 3 son has to leave at the beginning of august to start his new life as a boarder in Stewarts Melville in Edinburgh
All change and another new phase of life, certainly not dull.
